MICHAEL FRISON, 26 – SARDINIA

Michael Frison, a 26-year-old man from Somerset, UK, remains missing after he disappeared while in Sardinia, Italy.

Michael was last seen on 13 July 2024 in the northern part of the island, where he had travelled to visit family and volunteer on a farm. The trip was intended to celebrate his 25th birthday.

On the day he went missing, Michael reportedly returned from a walk in a confused state, with symptoms consistent with heat stroke. He later went out again for a second walk and did not return.

The following day, his clothes were discovered neatly folded nearby — a detail that has added to the mystery surrounding his disappearance.

Extensive searches have since been carried out across challenging terrain, including mountainous areas, rivers and caves. Despite these efforts, Michael has not been located.

A criminal investigation remains ongoing in Italy, and his family have now urged Interpol to assist in the search.

His mother, Cristina Pittalis, has relocated to Sardinia with her younger son to continue searching for answers. She has described the past year as a “constant nightmare” and continues to appeal for information.

Anyone who may have seen Michael, or who has any information about his whereabouts — no matter how small — is urged to come forward.
