Police in Dorchester are urgently appealing for information to help locate missing 48-year-old Lorraine, as concerns continue to grow for her safety.

 


Lorraine was last seen at Dorchester County Hospital during the early hours of Wednesday 25 March 2026. She has not been seen since in that area.



LAST SEEN LOCATION



A further confirmed sighting placed Lorraine in Yeovil town centre on the morning of Friday 27 March 2026. She is also believed to have links to Bristol, meaning she may have travelled further.


Given the movement between towns, police are urging people across Dorset, Somerset, and Bristol to remain alert.



CLOTHING WHEN LAST SEEN



Lorraine was wearing dark or grey clothing, distinctive yellow trainers, and was carrying a black tote bag with a white logo as well as a blanket.



DESCRIPTION



Lorraine is described as a white female, approximately 5ft 5 inches tall, with mousey brown hair that is usually tied up.



POLICE APPEAL



Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Lorraine’s welfare and are carrying out ongoing enquiries to locate her.


Anyone who may have seen Lorraine, or a woman matching her description, is urged to come forward immediately. Even small details — including sightings, transport use, or CCTV footage — could be vital.
