Date missing: 31/03/2025 Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 53-year-old James Aherne who is reported missing from his home in Dublin 8 since the 31st of March 2025. James is described as being approximately 6 foot in height, of slim build, with closely shaved mousey brown hair and brown eyes. James was last seen at Grand Canal Place in Dublin 8. He was wearing a black and green jacket, black trousers and black and white runners. He was carrying a blue backpack. Gardaí and James family are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information on James whereabouts is asked to contact Kilmainham Garda Station on 01 666 9700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
